iOS 9; Better just got much better !

With the term iOS, the first image that comes in our mind is that smooth crispy look of the iPhone, but there are people working round the clock to make those changes, small unnoticed and some blowing ones. You’ll find many what’s new in iOS 9 but here, we will talk about the ones that really is worth to read !

Improved Siri – The voice assistance just got better, with Reminder and an addition to support Maps, have made Siri really a human like assistant, also now search contextual stuffs like – “show me the pics I clicked at Marc’s Birthday” and tada, you’ll get the result you want P.S. just keep it fluent.

Multitasking – Well we all do it in our Mac, but we always wish to switch Apps in the smaller device. Okay, iOS 9 makes your this wish fulfill too. Split it, slide it, make all things smooth in iOS 9

Maps – Apple has worked extremely hard this time to compete with Google, in fact, giving details like Public transport, schedules, directions, places of interests, nearby places, Home, work & apple pay support. All these have so much improved and Maps are now really good to access.

Email – We all like to get faster results in search, iOS has just made it fastest and yeah more accurate. Also save or import your work from iCloud, things are just getting better and better.

Battery – We all hate wires connected with our phones now and then, but iOS has just banged it here. Extended battery life, Low power mode, Facedown detection have just made the battery life much less consumptive.

6 Digit Passcodes – 4 digits are too mainstream, so iOS 9 has upgraded it to 6 digits, well, now you can keep your birth date as your password.

News App – Read your favorite newspaper, magazine and blogs, share the articles that jive with you with the News app, or save them for offline reading later.

Move from Android Easily – It’s the first Android app Apple makes, so it’s only strategic to make it an app to make the transition from Android to iOS smoother. It securely transfers contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, web bookmarks, mail accounts, calendars, and in the future, your app library too.

New Font – If you’ll notice, iOS 9 comes with new font style, throughout ‘San Francisco System Fonts’ which means you won’t see Helvetica now onwards.

Pinch to Zoom in Videos – We did that in Images, now it’s possible in videos too, iOS give you this awesome feature to Pinch and zoom into the videos.

Leave a message on FaceTime – Your friend missed your call on FaceTime? No worries, now leave them a message through Facetime so that they can call you back as soon as they see this.

More power for developers – iOS 9 gives developers APIs and services that enable new categories of apps and features. Multitasking and gaming APIs help enhance app functionality and create immersive games. Expanded search capabilities and new support for HomeKit and HealthKit extend iOS to more places than ever before. Swift 2 brings improvements to compile speed and execution performance, which means smoother animation and faster response times. And later this year, Swift will be available as open source.

Small and Convenient – iOS 9 takes 1/3 rd of what the previous version took, so it gives you more space for storage.

The list is unpractically endless, but we talk about what matters the most, iOS has surely been the most upto the mark OS, and yeah experience it to make it feel worth !
